The Tarleton State Texans have enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they must head out on the road. Tarleton State and the New Mexico St. Aggies will face off in a WAC battle at 9 p.m. ET Thursday at Pan American Center. The teams split their matchups last year, with New Mexico St. winning the first 78-51 and the Texans taking the second 64-55.
Even if it wasn’t a dominant performance, Tarleton State beat the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks 77-71 on Saturday.
Meanwhile, while not quite a landslide, the matchup between New Mexico St. and the UTRGV Vaqueros on Saturday was still a pretty decisive one as New Mexico St. wrapped it up with an 85-73 win on the road.
Tarleton State have to know they’ll be fighting an uphill battle given the 10.50 point spread they are up against….
