Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul announced on Monday that swingman Marial Shayok has a shoulder injury that is expected to keep him out of action for four weeks. Shayok, 26, was injured in practice on Monday. He has been averaging 4.9 points in 14 minutes per game in this, his first EuroLeague season. He scored a season high of 18 points in under 21 minutes in Fenerbahce’s Round 12 home loss to rival Anadolu Efes Istanbul. Shayok joins a Fenerbahce infirmary that includes former MVPs Nando De Colo and Jan Vesely, who were injured just before the new year, and forward Danilo Barthel, who started 18 games last season but has played less than 4 minutes in this one.
