What to Know
The Missouri Tigers are 1-7 against the Mississippi State Bulldogs since January of 2016, but they’ll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Tigers and MSU will face off in an SEC battle at 9 p.m. ET at Mizzou Arena. Mizzou is out to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
Mizzou was expected to have a tough go of it last week, and, well, they did. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 83-56 punch to the gut against the Kentucky Wildcats.
Meanwhile, MSU wrapped up 2021 with an 81-68 victory over the Arkansas Razorbacks. MSU got double-digit scores from four players: forward Tolu Smith (18), guard Iverson Molinar (16), guard Shakeel Moore (15), and forward D.J. Jeffries (10).
