The Dayton Flyers lost both of their matches to the VCU Rams last season on scores of 67-76 and 68-73, so they’re hoping to turn the tables this season. Dayton and VCU will face off in an Atlantic 10 battle at 7 p.m. ET Wednesday at University of Dayton Arena. These two teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous games.
The Flyers beat the Southern Jaguars 69-60 two weeks ago. Guard Kobe Elvis (15 points) and forward Toumani Camara (13 points) were the top scorers for Dayton.
Meanwhile, VCU made easy work of the Florida Atlantic Owls three weeks ago and carried off a 66-46 win. The top scorer for VCU was guard KeShawn Curry (13 points).
Barring any buzzer beaters, Dayton is expected to win a tight contest. But bettors beware: they are only 2-5 against the spread when favored.
