The Saint Joseph’s Hawks haven’t won a game against the George Washington Colonials since Dec. 30 of 2016, but they’ll be looking to end the drought Sunday. Saint Joseph’s and George Washington will face off in an Atlantic 10 battle at 1 p.m. ET at Michael J. Hagan ’85 Arena. The Hawks are out to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
The Richmond Spiders typically have all the answers at home, but this past Thursday Saint Joseph’s proved too difficult a challenge. Saint Joseph’s ended the year with a bang, routing Richmond 83-56. Saint Joseph’s’ success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but forward Taylor Funk led the charge as he had 18 points along with seven rebounds.
