TOLEDO, Ohio – The University of Toledo women’s basketball team visits SIU-Edwardsville on Sunday, Dec. 19 for an afternoon matchup with the Cougars. Tipoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. ET and the game will be streamed live on ESPN+.
The Rockets (5-2) are coming off a 2-0 week which began with an 86-33 drubbing of St. Francis (Pa.) on Wednesday and continued with a 75-53 win over Loyola (Md.) on Saturday.
Toledo used a strong second half to propel itself past the Greyhounds. Quinesha Lockett led the charge, scoring 24 of her season-high 30 points in the final 20 minutes against Loyola to help turn a one-point halftime deficit into a 22-point win.
