ORANGEBURG, SC— All-MEAC performer sophomore forward Trinity Klock tossed in a team-high 12 points, while freshman guard Nicole Gwynn added 10 but it wasn’t enough as South Carolina State suffered another setback 50-65 Thursday (Nov.18th) at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.

Junior forward Shania Wright added 9 in the loss.

St. Thomas was led by graduate forward Erin Norling with a game-high 19 points, while Kaia Porter and Kate Burns each added 11 points respectively.

UP Next for SC State

South Carolina State will play in the Georgia Southern Tournament over the holiday break Nov.26-27 in Statesboro, GA. The Lady Bulldogs will take on host Georgia Southern on Friday, Nov.,26th at 1 p.m. , followed by Indiana State on Saturday, Nov. 27th at 3:30 p.m.
