Hoosiers in the NBA: Kel'el Ware shines in matchup against Victor Wembanyama - Inside the Hall

Throughout the 2024-25 season, we’ll periodically update you on former Hoosiers in the NBA.

The 2024-25 NBA season is at the halfway point and seven former Hoosiers are currently in the league. Here’s an updated look at how each player has performed thus far:

OG Anunoby, New York Knicks

The Knicks are in third place in the Eastern Conference with a 28-16 record. New York is 2.5 games behind Boston and 2.5 games ahead of Milwaukee.

The 27-year-old Anunoby has played in all 44 games this season, averaging 15.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, two assists and 1.3 steals in 36.7 minutes per game.

The 2017 first-round pick is shooting 47.2 percent from the field, 34.4 percent on 3s and 80.2 percent from the free-throw line.

Thomas Bryant, Indiana Pacers

Bryant, 27, has played a more significant role since his Dec. 15 trade from Miami to Indiana.

In 17 games for the Pacers, Bryant is averaging 6.7 points and 3.9 rebounds in 14.1 minutes per game.

Bryant is shooting 56.8 percent from the field and 44.4 percent on 3s. In 27 games overall between Indiana and Miami this season, the 2017 NBA draft second-round pick is averaging 5.7 points and 3.7 rebounds in 13.1 minutes per game.

The Pacers are in fifth place in the Eastern Conference and are just a game behind Milwaukee for fourth.

Eric Gordon, Philadelphia 76ers

After six straight losses, Philadelphia is 2.5 games out of the final play-in spot in the Eastern Conference.

Gordon has been playing much better lately after struggling to start the season. Over Philadelphia’s last 10 games, he’s shooting 45.2 percent on 3s.

The North Central product has played in 30 games this season for the 76ers, averaging 6.2 points, 1.4 assists and 1.1 rebounds in 18.5 minutes. Gordon is shooting 40 percent from the field and 36 percent on 3s.

Gordon attended IU’s game against Penn State at the Palestra in early January. He sat behind the IU bench and addressed the team in the locker room.

Jalen Hood-Schifino, Los Angeles Lakers

Hood-Schifino’s role with the Lakers is non-existent since the team declined his option for the 2025-26 season in late October.

He’s appeared in just two games this season for the Lakers and one game for their G-League affiliate, the South Bay Lakers.

Until Hood-Schifino goes to another team, he won’t see the floor in an NBA game.
