Michigan basketball didn’t exactly have a great week. Sure, it got a win on Sunday in overtime against Northwestern, but it also had an inexplicable loss early in the week at Minnesota — also in overtime.
Just when the Wolverines had looked unbeatable, they started to look imminently beatable.
However, despite the missteps, the maize and blue are still ranked and still in a good position in the eyes of the coaches.
With the latest USA TODAY Sports coaches poll released, Michigan basketball came in ranked No. 20. It only has one game this upcoming week but it’s against No. 12 Purdue in West Lafayette on Friday. Get an upset there, then it has a shot to right the wrongs of this past week.
