Those historic numbers from UCLA in Friday night’s win over Iowa continue an alarming trend for the Hawkeyes.
The Hawkeyes are now 0-4 in true road games and have lost three of those games by an average margin of 21.6 points per game.
In its other road loss at Michigan, Iowa dug itself an early 20-4 hole. In its four road games, Iowa opponents are averaging 98.5 points per game and are shooting 61.7% from the field and 48.3% from 3-point range.
Wisconsin set its single-game program record for made 3-pointers against Iowa and also registered a Kohl Center scoring record against the Hawkeyes.
Iowa isn’t just bad on the road right now, the Hawkeyes are historically bad in true road games.
