Michigan State basketball will look to protect its home court in a massive conference matchup on Sunday afternoon.
Michigan State basketball will put its 10-game winning streak on the line in a home matchup against No. 19 Illinois. This will be arguably the biggest game of the week in Big Ten play.
Michigan State comes into this marquee matchup extremely hot. The Spartans haven’t lost since the Maui Invitational in November, and hold a 15-2 overall record and 6-0 mark in Big Ten play.
Illinois has also been playing well as of late, with a 13-4 overall record and 5-2 mark in Big Ten play. The Fighting Illini hammered Indiana on the road earlier this week, and is in the mix with the Spartans for the Big Ten title.

Michigan State vs. Illinois prediction, pick
This is going to be a great matchup and one that could end up being high-scoring. If the Spartans can’t hit their shots from outside, then they won’t be able to keep up with the Fighting Illini. I think they do and also make enough defensive plays down the stretch to get the win.
Prediction: Michigan State 82, Illinois 77
