LSU women’s basketball hits the road on Thursday for a conference matchup against No. 16 Tennessee.

The Tigers claimed a five-point win in the only meeting last season. Tennessee is led by first-year head coach Kim Caldwell and boasts a 13-1 record, suffering its first loss on Sunday by one point to No. 10 Oklahoma. Earlier this season, the Volunteers beat then-No. 17 Iowa by 10 points.

Tennessee leads the country with 97.3 points, 27.64 forced turnovers, and 20.9 offensive rebounds per game. The team is also tied for second with 14.9 steals per game. Talaysia Cooper leads a pack of six double-figure scorers with 17.8 points and 3.64 steals per game.

LSU, still undefeated, opened SEC play with two convincing wins over Arkansas and Auburn.  Aneesah Morrow tallied double-doubles in both contests while four Tigers scored in double-figures against Auburn.
