BALTIMORE, MD—Junior transfer guard Angie Juste-Jean returned from injury to toss in a game-high 25 points, seven (7) rebounds and two (2) steals, but it wasn’t enough as South Carolina State fell short 54-55 to host Morgan State Saturday (Jan. 4) inside Hill Field House.

Justice Tramble added nine (9) points and seven (7) rebounds, while Jada Morgan chipped in five (5) points and five (5) rebounds in the loss.

South Carolina State falls to 1-16 overall, 0-1 MEAC, while Morgan State improves to 8-8 overall, 1-0 in the league.

Despite the loss, SCSU led in several categories including points off turnovers (15-13), while connecting 14-of-18 from the free-throw line (77.8%).
