Michael Porter Jr. Sits Fourth Quarter, Overtime Of Nuggets

Michael Porter Jr. did not play in the fourth quarter or overtime of the Denver Nuggets’ win over the New Orleans Pelicans. Porter finished the game with eight points, four rebounds and two blocks amid questions about his effort.

Porter emerged in trade rumors this week with the Nuggets looking to upgrade their offense. The Nuggets and Porter also reportedly discussed a contract extension earlier in the year. Porter is represented by Mark Bartelstein and cannot become a free agent until 2027.

This season, Porter is averaging 18.4 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 35.1 minutes over 25 games.
