The North Carolina Tar Heels found a way to avoid a fourth-straight loss and an upset in their Atlantic Coast Conference opener. Going into Saturday’s home game against Georgia Tech, the Tar Heels had lost three in a row, falling to 4-4 on the season.
And for a lot of the game, it felt like they were going to lose again.
However, they were able to pull it out in the second half for the 68-65 win and move to 5-4 on the year and 1-0 in the ACC season. While it wasn’t an impressive win, it was a win and that’s what matters right now for Hubert Davis’ squad.
