SALT LAKE CITY — The University of Utah women’s basketball program’s game against Utah State, originally scheduled in the Jon M. Huntsman Center on Thursday, Dec. 5, will now be played at the Delta Center on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m.
“This is a great opportunity for our team, and for our fans, whose support of our program has elevated significantly in recent seasons,” said head coach Lynne Roberts. “With the growth and popularity of women’s basketball nationally, this is a great showcase for an in-state matchup.”
All tickets bought through the Utah Ticket Office will be honored. More information on ticketing including how to access tickets for the game is soon to come.
The matchup with Utah State will also be the MUSS Appreciation game.
Utah is currently 1-0 on the season after picking up a 105-52 win over Southern Utah in the season opener. Utah had six players score in double figures and were led Gianna Kneepkens who returned after missing 26 games last season and put up 18 points.
The Utes will next take on Weber State Nov. 7 in the Jon M. Huntsman Center at 5:30 p.m. before hitting the road to Northwestern for the first road game of the year on Nov. 14.
