A pivotal recruiting weekend for Indiana basketball is underway in Bloomington.
The Hoosier coaching staff will host a trio of nationally ranked prospects for official visits. Braylon Mullins, Trent Sisley, and Eric Reibe will each be on campus as Indiana pursues its first commitment in the 2025 recruiting class.
Indiana hosted five-stars Jalen Haralson and Mikel Brown Jr. for official visits earlier this fall.
There will be a buzz on campus this weekend as Indiana football attempts to improve to 4-0 when it hosts Charlotte at noon ET Saturday at Memorial Stadium.
Here’s an overview of where things stand with each of the three players visiting this weekend:
Braylon Mullins
The Greenfield-Central guard is the favorite for Indiana’s 2025 Mr. Basketball award and is now a five-star prospect nationally, according to the 247Sports Composite.
The Hoosiers identified Mullins earlier than most schools and offered him a scholarship over a year ago. His recruitment has gone national, and he added offers from nearly every blue-blood school in the country last spring.
The 6-foot-5 guard has already taken official visits to UConn, North Carolina and Michigan. After his trip to Indiana this weekend, Mullins is expected to visit Kentucky. Previously scheduled trips to Tennessee and Duke have been canceled.
Mullins is a pivotal recruit for Indiana because of his talent and ability to impact the game as a shooter, and the time the staff has invested in his recruitment.
The expectation is for Mullins to decide before his senior season at Greenfield-Central. Kyle Neddenriep of The Indianapolis Star recently reported that Mullins plans to trim his list of schools next week.
Trent Sisley
Sisley, a Southern Indiana native, played his first three high school seasons at Heritage Hills, a class 3A school in Lincoln City.
The 6-foot-7 forward, the No. 75 player nationally in the latest 247Sports Composite rankings, transferred to Montverde Academy for his final high school season. Sisley would have been a factor in the Mr. Basketball race this season if not for the transfer.
Sisley has already taken an official visit to Purdue, which has prioritized him. After this weekend, he still has trips scheduled to Notre Dame and Michigan State.
