The two players share a connection, having both begun their NBA careers with the Phoenix Suns in 2008. Lopez reflected on their early days in the league and expressed his admiration for Dragic’s illustrious career.
“We were rookies together, and he was somebody I could look to because he had been a professional before in Europe,” Lopez said.
