Twitter reacts to Steph Curry closing out France in Gold Medal Game

One of the most anticipated international games on the Olympic stage lived up to the hype. Team USA battled back and forth with host country France in a thrilling contest for the world to see. When the game got tight in the final minutes, Steph Curry stole the show.

In a two-possession game In the final three minutes of the contest, Curry caught fire, scoring 19 points — yes, 19 points in the final three minutes of the fourth quarter. Curry buried multiple triples in the final minutes, including high-arcing jumpers over the 7-foot-4 French center Victor Wembanyama.

After drilling several miraculous shots, Curry broke out the shimmy and the night-night celebrations against France in Paris on Saturday.

Curry finished with a team-high 24 points on 8-of-14 shooting from the field with eight made 3-pointers in 30 minutes. Curry added five assists in Team USA’s 98-87 win over France in Paris.
