Wisconsin basketball lands official visit with top 2025 SF Amari Allen

How to watch Big Ten Tournament Wisconsin basketball vs Northwestern

Wisconsin locked in an official visit with top-ranked in-state class of 2025 small forward Amari Allen on Monday. He will visit the program the weekend of Sept. 13 — the weekend that the Badgers play host to the Alabama Crimson Tide on the gridiron.

The Badgers are one of three programs with an official visit scheduled with the top recruit, along with Minnesota and UCF.

Allen is currently a four-star recruit according to 247Sports. He’s ranked as the service’s No. 100 player in the class of 2025, No. 18 small forward and No. 11 recruit from the state of Florida. He currently holds offers from top programs including Creighton, Auburn, Indiana, Iowa, Marquette, Tennessee and Villanova. Wisconsin is not listed on his offer sheet to this date, though that is sure to change in the coming months.

The 6’7″ wing was a standout at Kaukauna High School in Kaukauna, Wisconsin before transferring to high school athletics powerhouse IMG Academy. So while his recruiting profile lists Florida, he is technically an in-state prospect for the Badgers.

Wisconsin bringing him in on an official visit during the weekend of arguably the biggest home football game in a decade indicates that he is a top priority.

Head coach Greg Gard will look to add Allen to the Badgers’ class of 2025 that currently ranks within the nation’s top 10 with two players committed: four-star shooting guard Zach Kinziger and three-star center Will Garlock.

Allen would be a marquee addition to the program and continue its recent strong performance on the high school recruiting trail.
