It’s been quite a year for New England basketball fans.
First, the UConn men’s basketball team dominated the rest of the competition en route to a sixth NCAA title and second in a row. Then, just up the road, the Boston Celtics punctuated a 64-win regular season with a 16-3 tear through the NBA playoffs, coasting to an all-time record 18th NBA title in a never-in-doubt five-game romp over the Dallas Mavericks.
The C’s won more games than any team in the league since the 2017 Warriors, and lost fewer in the postseason than any team since those dynastic Dubs as well.

Either way, if you’re a Boston sports fan in Connecticut, or just a New England basketball fan, it’s been a pretty special year.
