The Bulls’ 2023-24 season ends with little fight

The Chicago Bulls’ 112-91 loss to the Miami Heat was rough to watch for fans of the team, no matter how you feel about the effort they put forth in a win or go home tilt.

“These games, they’re going to be like that,” said Chicago head coach Billy Donovan to the AP after the season-ending defeat. “It’s going to be ugly, grind-out. Could we have been better in those areas? Probably. I wouldn’t say we were perfect. I thought our guys were trying to compete.” But a 19-0 run by the Heat in the game’s second half broke the contest open for good, and the Bulls season went down the drain as a result.

What went wrong? Is it a reflection of deeper problems with the roster and the franchise? And what can be done to get better?

The hosts of the “Locked On Bulls” podcast, Haize and Pat the Designer, recently took a closer look at the last contest of Chicago’s 2023-24 campaign, and what the future might hold. Check it out!
