If the season ended today, the Sixers would face the Heat on the road in the 7 vs. 8 matchup to determine the No. 7 seed in the East. The loser would then face the winner of the 9 vs. 10 matchup to determine the No. 8 seed. If the Sixers get to 7, they will face the sputtering Milwaukee Bucks in Round 1. If they stay at 8, the Sixers will face the dominant Boston Celtics in Round 1.
