What Gators said after season-ending loss to Colorado in NCAA Tournament first round

Arriving at the end of the road is rarely a fun experience as the Florida Gators learned on Friday in their NCAA Tournament first-round loss to the Colorado Buffaloes in Indianapolis, Indiana, 102-100. After a late-season run and a tidy showing in the Southeastern Conference Tournament, the Orange and Blue simply did not have enough to stay alive during the 2023-24 campaign.

Some blame the absence of starting center Miah Handlogten while others blame the officiating crew for defeat. At the end of the day, Todd Golden’s gang simply did not have enough to stay afloat in the hyper-competitive postseason tourney.

Speaking of Golden, he along with Walter Clayton Jr., Tyrese Samuel and Will Richard spoke with the media following the heart-breaking last-second loss. Take a look at what they had to offer below.
