Texas recently made the College Football Playoff on the strength of a 12-win season, conference title and road shellacking of the SEC champion Alabama Crimson Tide. It’s hard to be more ready than that. We’ll conservatively rate the Longhorns’ readiness, but the team is poised for another 11-win regular season in 2024. SEC readiness: 7.5
