If you could condense the entire Arkansas basketball season into one game, it would’ve gone exactly the way it did tonight. The fast start was followed by nearly a 12-minute drought just to comeback within 3 and crush everyone’s hope.

Eric Musselman said it best. This team is just frustrating.

Khalif Battle had another fantastic game, scoring 36 points, but Arkansas’ defense was horrendous in the middle 20 minutes. The Hogs couldn’t stop anything without fouling, but to be fair, the refs were calling every slight touch as a foul.

Regardless, that was an 8-20 basketball team who completely shut down Arkansas in Bud Walton Arena. As the worst losses of the season is concerned, in the context of what the game meant and who they played, this is hands down in the top-3, and it ain’t No. 2 or 3.

Arkansas will head to Lexington on Saturday to play the Wildcats. The last time the two teams met, the Razorback went blow-for-blow until the last few minutes of the game.
