FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Vanderbilt women’s basketball team opens a two-game road trip Sunday, as the Commodores head to the Natural State to take on Arkansas. Tipoff from Bud Walton Arena is set for 2 p.m. and will stream live on SEC Network+.

>> The Commodores hit the road sporting a 19-8 overall record, while Vanderbilt holds a 6-7 mark in SEC plays. The Dores are coming off an 86-61 home loss to Tennessee. Junior Iyana Moore led a trio of double-digit scorers for the Commodores with a game-high 25 points against the Lady Volunteers.

>> Sunday’s matchup will be the 40th all-time meeting between the Commodores and Razorbacks. Vanderbilt leads the series 27-12. The Dores picked up a 78-70 victory in the last matchup between the two schools, which took place on Feb. 9, 2023, at Memorial Gymnasium. The two have traded wins in each of the last three games, with Vanderbilt holding a 2-1 edge. The home team has claimed victory in each of the last three contests.

>> Vanderbilt is 8-9 all-time at Bud Walton Arena. The last Commodore win over the Razorbacks in Fayetteville came back on Feb. 20, 2014, when Vanderbilt picked up a 56-50 win. The Dores are 0-1 inside Bud Walton Arena under head coach Shea Ralph, as Vanderbilt dropped an 84-81 contest on Jan. 16, 2023.

>> The Dores are 8-3 away from Memorial Gymnasium this season. Vanderbilt is 6-3 in true road games and 2-0 in natural site contests. The Commodores are 4-2 in SEC road games this season. The four SEC road wins are the most road conference games that Vanderbilt has won since the 2010-11 season, when Vanderbilt won five SEC road games.

>> Vandy heads into Sunday’s contest looking to extend its two-game winning streak on the road. The Commodores have won back-to-back away contests at Georgia (61-55) and at Texas A&M (49-45). The last time Vanderbilt had a three-game winning streak in SEC road games came back during the 2010-11 campaign, when the Commodores won four-straight conference road games to close out the regular season.
