THIS WEEK 

No. 7 USC gets back to Los Angeles for its final Pac-12 home games of the season, setting up for rematches against No. 11 Colorado and No. 18 Utah at Galen Center. The Trojans (20-4, 10-4 Pac-12) host the No. 11 Buffs (20-5, 10-4) at 7 p.m on Friday (Feb. 23) before taking on the No. 18 Utes (19-7, 9-5) at 12 p.m. on Sunday (Feb. 25). USC will celebrate its six graduating Women of Troy at Sunday’s game, honoring Kaitlyn Davis, McKenzie Forbes, Roxane Makolo, India Otto, Kayla Padilla and Kayla Williams.

Both USC games this week will air on Pac-12 Networks with Tammy Blackburn and Ann Schatz on the calls.

IN THE POLLS

USC’s No. 21 preseason national ranking marked the fourth time the Trojans have appeared in preseason AP and USA Today polls since 2005. It’s the highest preseason ranking for USC in that span, following No. 23 in 2011, No. 22 and 2006 and No. 24 (AP) and No. 22 (USA Today) in 2005. As of the most recent AP poll (Feb. 19), USC is up to No. 7 in the nation. Also this week, USC has also shifted to No. 7 in the latest USA Today Coaches Poll (released Feb. 20). 

QUICK HITS

• With its 10-0 start to this season, USC recorded back-to-back 9-0 starts for just the second time in program history, going back to the 1983-84 (10-0) and 1984-85 (10-0) seasons.

• With wins over then-No. 7 Ohio State, No. 2 UCLA and most recently at No. 4 Stanford, USC has recorded three wins over top-10 opponents in a single season for the first time since 1985-86.

• Now 4-3 against ranked opponents this season, USC has recorded its most ranked wins since 2016-17 (4-7)

• At 20-4, USC has its best start through 24 games since 1993-94.

– Consecutive 20-win seasons for first time since 1992-93 & 1993-94

• USC’s six straight wins is its longest conference win streak since Feb. 2012 to Jan. 2013 (10 straight)

• USC was ranked in the nation’s top 10 for 10 straight weeks and has been enjoying its highest national rankings since reaching No. 4 in both polls during the 1994 season.

• USC was ranked No. 6 in the national AP poll for five straight weeks before moving to No. 9 on Jan. 1 following the Trojans’ loss at No. 2 UCLA.
