Winners of four of its last five games, Washington State women’s basketball returns home to host No. 6/6 Colorado on Friday, Feb. 2 at 7 p.m. We will be celebrating Women’s Empowerment night at Beasley Coliseum.

ABOUT WASHINGTON STATE

WSU Women’s Basketball is 15-6 overall for the second-straight season, and 4-4 in Pac-12 play. The Cougars have had 5+ scorers in double figures six times this season, and have had 4+ players score in double-figures in four of their last five games. The team is coming off of an 85-82 victory over No. 2 UCLA last Sunday, which was the highest-ranked win in program history. WSU is 1-1 midway through its tough stretch of four-straight nationally ranked opponents.

COUGS IN THE RANKINGS

The Cougs received votes again in this week’s AP Poll as they look to climb back into the rankings after having been ranked as high as number 21 this season. Washington State was voted to the Preseason Associated Press Top-25 Poll for the first time in program history, appearing at No. 24 in the preseason poll. WSU was picked to finish fifth by the Pac-12 Conference coaches and media, matching the best preseason pick in program history after also being picked fifth ahead of the 1991-92 season.

SERIES HISTORY

In 24 meetings all-time between these two programs, WSU holds a 14-10 advantage over CU, and is 8-3 all-time against them when playing in Pullman.
