SEATTLE – We have your starting five reasons to attend Washington women’s and men’s basketball games on Montlake this weekend. See you in Alaska Airlines Arena, Husky Nation!

SCHEDULE

Friday, Feb. 2 at 7 PM: UW women’s basketball vs. No. 20 Utah | GET TICKETS

Saturday, Feb. 3 at 6 PM: UW men’s basketball vs. Washington State | GET TICKETS

Sunday. Feb. 4 at 12 PM: UW women’s basketball vs. No. 6 Colorado | GET TICKETS

STARTING 5

1) The Matchups! | All Weekend

  • Two Top-25 teams

    • Washington women’s basketball is hosting two Top-25 teams in No. 20 Utah (Friday) and No. 6 Colorado (Sunday).

  • Boeing Apple Cup Series

    • Washington men’s basketball takes on rival Washington State in the Boeing Apple Cup Series matchup.
    • Get there early for the reversible bucket hat giveaway, while supplies last.

2) Celebrating Black History Month | Friday

  • The Black National Anthem will be sung pregame before the National Anthem.
  • UW’s Black Student-Athlete Alliance will be recognized in-game.
  • Create With Purpose

    • The Washington women’s basketball team will be wearing special adidas uniforms. 
    • The men’s team will be wearing the uniforms on Feb. 17.

3) Dubs Appearance | Saturday

  • Dubs will be on the concourse from 5-6 PM to take photos with fans before the men’s game!

4) Washington Football Recognition | Saturday & Sunday

  • At the men’s game Saturday, UW football head coach Jedd Fisch will be introduced to the crowd in the first half.
  • At the women’s game Sunday, the 2023 UW football team’s season will be celebrated.

    • The football team will be signing autographs pregame on the concourse between Sections 3 & 6 from 11 AM-12 PM. During that time, fans can also take photos with the Pac-12 Championship trophy and the Sugar Bowl trophy!
    • At halftime, the 2023 Huskies will be recognized on the court.

5) Pink Game | Sunday

  • This season’s Cancer Awareness Game is happening Sunday at women’s basketball.
  • ZTA sorority will be passing out pink ribbons on the concourse.
  • Fans can fill out “I Wear Pink For…” cards on the concourse to show support for those affected by cancer. 

    • Listen for the cue during the game (second quarter) to lift your cards up!
