Cam Reddish will miss at least two weeks with sprained ankle

The Los Angeles Lakers have been unable to get or stay healthy for a sustained stretch this season. In addition to many minor injuries that have forced several players to miss a few games at a time, they have had to deal with a number of more serious injuries.

Guard Gabe Vincent, who was supposed to play a key role on both ends of the floor, has played five games due to a knee ailment. He recently underwent a procedure and is expected to be out until at least late February.

Forward Cam Reddish has been one of L.A.’s most banged-up players this season. He has missed 11 games, including four of the team’s last six contests.

He will be shelved for at least two more weeks due to a right ankle sprain.

“Los Angeles Lakers forward Cam Reddish is nursing a right ankle sprain and will be re-evaluated in two weeks, the team announced Friday.

“Reddish sustained the injury during the fourth quarter of the Lakers’ 127-116 setback to the LA Clippers on Tuesday. He sat out the Lakers’ 141-132 win over the Chicago Bulls on Thursday.”

Until recently, Reddish was a consistent starter for head coach Darvin Ham. He’s averaging 6.7 points on 40.5% field-goal shooting and 33.7% from 3-point range on the season.
