Wendell Carter Jr. registered his second double-double with a season-high 25 points and 11 rebounds off the bench to lead the Magic. Jalen Suggs finished with 16 points and Paolo Banchero added 14 points, eight rebounds and six assists.

The team has posted a 5-5 record in January and is 26th in the NBA in points per game (111.4). However, the group is fifth in defense after allowing 111.4 points per 100 possessions and sixth in opponent field-goal percentage during the month.

The contest between the Heat and Magic on Sunday is the third of the season between the two teams. The Heat took the first two games of the series and have won 13 out of the last 16 games against the Magic.
