Gators NET rankings after Missouri Tigers road win

Florida basketball scored a huge road win on Saturday night against the Missouri Tigers in Columbia, 79-67, for its first true road win of the season and first away from the O’Connell Center since Dec. 19.

As a result of the Quadrant 2 win, the Orange and Blue rose seven spots to No. 45 overall in the NET rankings, putting them between the No. 44 Drake Bulldogs and No. 46 Ohio State Buckeyes.

Here’s how the quadrant system breaks things up:

  • Quadrant 1: Home 1-30, Neutral 1-50, Away 1-75
  • Quadrant 2: Home 31-75, Neutral 51-100, Away 76-135
  • Quadrant 3: Home 76-160, Neutral 101-200, Away 135-240
  • Quadrant 4: Home 161-353, Neutral 201-353, Away 241-353

The Gators are now 0-6 against Quadrant 1 opponents, 4-0 against Quadrant 2 opponents, 3-0 against Quadrant 3 opponents and 5-0 against Quadrant 4 opponents. They hold a 12-6 record overall and a 2-3 mark in Southeastern Conference play.

Florida returns home to face the Mississippi State Bulldogs inside the O’Connell Center on Wednesday, Jan. 24. Tipoff time is slated for another late start, this time at 8:30 p.m. ET, and the game will be broadcast on the SEC Network.
