STANFORD, Calif. – Spencer Jones scored a career-high 30 points and tied a school record with eight made 3-pointers and Stanford blitzed Washington at Maples Pavilion, 90-80. The Cardinal improves to 10-8 this season and 5-3 in Pac-12 play with the result.

Jones tied former Stanford stars Julius Barnes (2002-03, vs. Rice) and Terry Taylor (1987-88, vs. Seattle Pacific) with his eight triples, with the mark also the most this season by a Pac-12 player. Jones also tallied a steal and a block, helping him to become the first player in program history ranked in the top-10 in both steals and blocks. Adding to the record books, Jones now ranks ninth in Pac-12 history with 289 career made 3-pointers.

Stanford has had a 30-point scorer in consecutive games for the first time since Landry Fields tallied 30 or more in back-to-back games in January of 2010. Kanaan Carlyle scored 31 points on Thursday night against Washington State.

Carlyle added 16 points and five assists against the Huskies (11-8, 3-5 Pac-12) while Brandon Angel and Michael Jones scored 13 points apiece. Maxime Raynaud pitched in nine points and nine rebounds. The Cardinal continued its hot shooting, ending the evening at 50.9 percent from the floor and 54.2 percent from 3-point range (13-for-24).
