The Detroit Pistons set an NBA record with their 27th straight loss as they were defeated at home 118-112 by the Brooklyn Nets.

Detroit hasn’t won a game since its home opener Oct. 28, against the Chicago Bulls and now have a 2-28 record.

The most consecutive losses spanning multiple seasons is 28 by the 14-15 and 15-16 Philadelphia 76ers.

Cade Cunningham had 41 points to go with nine rebounds and five assists. Cunningham had 37 points in the second half.
