Arkansas basketball (7-4) has two games left before conference play begins and has plenty of issues to iron out. With that in mind, Abilene Christian (5-6) comes to town and provides the penultimate non-conference test for the Hogs.
The Razorbacks and Wildcats will meet inside Bud Walton Arena for Arkansas’ first game on their home floor in nearly two weeks. The Hogs fell to Oklahoma 79-70 in Tulsa two Saturdays ago, and then nearly squandered a 20-point lead to Lipscomb in front of a sell-out crowd in North Little Rock this past weekend.
Thursday’s game will also mark just the second time Arkansas has ever faced Abilene Christian. The two programs first met three seasons ago during the 2020-21 season. The Hogs won that game 85-72, but were without head coach Eric Musselman due to Covid-19 quarantine protocols in place at the time.
