Lauri Markkanen, now an All-Star with the Utah Jazz, is catching the eye of other teams considering testing Utah’s openness to trading him.
While there is no indication that the Jazz are willing to part with the skilled 7-footer, some teams are gearing up to explore the possibility. Talks may kick off as early as the upcoming G League Showcase.
Markkanen’s current contract amounts to $17.3 million this season. Looking ahead, his deal for the next season is set at $18 million, with a guarantee of $6 million.
