RALEIGH, N.C. – The undefeated Vanderbilt women’s basketball team is set to head to the Tar Heel State this Wednesday, as the Commodores travel to No. 5-ranked NC State for the ACC/SEC Challenge. Tipoff against the Wolfpack is set for 6:15 p.m. CT and will air live on ACC Network.

Starting Five
>> Vanderbilt enters the week with a perfect 7-0 record. The Commodores won back-to-back games at the South Point Thanksgiving Shootout in Las Vegas last week. Vandy opened its stay in Sin City with a 68-53 win over Iowa State last Friday, then went on to defeat Northern Iowa, 68-64, the following day.

>> The Commodores go into the ACC/SEC Challenge at 7-0 this season. It is Vanderbilt’s best start to a season since the 2011-12 campaign when the Dores opened the year with 10-straight wins.

>> Vandy is 30-14 against nonconference opponents under head coach Shea Ralph. Vanderbilt heads into Wednesday’s matchup having won 10-straight games against non-SEC teams.

>> The Commodores are 1-10 against ranked teams under head coach Shea Ralph. The lone win against a ranked team in the Ralph Era came during her first season, when Vanderbilt upset No. 15/21-ranked Florida, 63-59, at Memorial Coliseum.

>> Vanderbilt is 2-6 all-time against NC State. The two teams played last season in Cancun, Mexico, where the Wolfpack picked up an 82-73 win. NC State has won four-straight games against the Commodores, while Vanderbilt is 0-3 all-time in Raleigh.

Wednesday’s game will air live on ACC Network starting at 6:15 p.m. CT. Fans can also listen to the game on the Vanderbilt Commodores app or on 94.9 The Fan in the Nashville area.

ESPN.com Team of the Week
ESPN.com named the Vanderbilt women’s basketball team its Team of the Week on Nov. 27. The Commodores are off to their best start in 12 seasons after going undefeated at the South Point Thanksgiving Shootout. Vanderbilt enters the week a perfect 7-0, which is the Commodores’ best start since the 2011-12 campaign.

Still Perfect
Vanderbilt enters the week with a perfect 7-0 record. The Commodores are one of 26 undefeated teams remaining in NCAA Division I, while Vanderbilt is one of three unbeaten SEC teams.
