After nearly a week off, Auburn basketball is set to return and they will do so as heavy favorites in their game against Notre Dame. BetMGM favors the Tigers by 14.5 points in Thursday’s game.
The game is part of the Legends Classic and will be played in the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. While both teams have started the season 1-1, they did so in quite different ways.
Auburn played a competitive game against the No. 13 Baylor Bears to open the season before falling 88-82. They then returned to Neville Arena and beat Southeastern Louisiana by 15 points to pick up their first win.
Notre Dame is fresh off a 71-61 loss to Western Carolina, a tough start to the season for new head coach Micah Shrewsberry.
Here is everything you need to know before placing any bets on the game, which is set to start at 8 p.m. CT and will be on ESPN2.
Auburn has not reported any injuries for the game.

Auburn is a better and more talented team than Notre Dame and this is a great opportunity to pick up a win in a noteworthy tournament. I’m expecting them to do that and to look good doing so.
Their offense has scored at least 82 points every game and they should have another strong showing as the defense continues to improve. The Tigers will do enough to get the win and to cover the 14.5-point spread.
Best Bet: Auburn -14.5
