Frank Matches Career High as Women’s Basketball Downs North Alabama

COLUMBIA, Mo. –  Four Tigers scored in double figures as University of Missouri Women’s Basketball defeated North Alabama, 83-72 on Tuesday night in Mizzou Arena.

Graduate forward Hayley Frank with a career night led Missouri in scoring as she reached the 29-point total in her career. Frank’s scoring performance marks her highest since Nov. 11, 2021, against Columbia College.

With the point total Frank passed Lorraine Ferret (1979-83) to move into seventh on Missouri’s all-time scoring leaderboard. The graduate stands just nine points shy of Nancy Rutter (1974-78) for sixth.

Senior guard Mama Dembele led the way for Tigers defensively with a career-high 10 steals. Dembele was a menace on the defensive end as she tied her previous career-high four steals in just the first quarter alone.

Dembele also added 12 points, which earned her a double-double. She has recorded the statistical feat in consecutive games for the first time in her career.

Freshman forward Grace Slaughter continues to impress early in her career as she scored 13 points and has recorded double-digit points in each contest this season.

Sophomore guard Ashton Judd recorded her second double-double of the season with 10 points and 12 rebounds. The 10-point performance marks the fourth consecutive time she has tallied double-digit points.
