Given star Boston Celtics forward Jaylen Brown had gone out of his way to call out the TD Garden home crowd ahead of Game 7, itβs probably a good thing the Georgia native taking a forearm shiv to the face from James Harden got the arena in a frenzy to help lift Brown and his teammates to a decisive, 112-88 win. βNothing like a shot to the face to wake you right up,β said the Cal alum postgame.
βIt sparked the Garden,β he continued. βI called out the Garden out last game and what a way to respond. The energy in the building was through the roof! It was amazing.β
βEverybody that was in the building, and anybody that was cheering for the Celtics, we could feel that energy tonight,β Brown continued.
