Among the biggest questions left to be answered for the UNC basketball program in the coming weeks will be the potential for reclassifications from 2024 to 2023. With UNC having two recruits thar are candidates to reclassify in Ian Jackson and Elliot Cadeau, itโs possible neither decide to make that jump and instead stay in 2024.
But of the two, it appears as if Cadeau is the most likely and potentially most ready.
Travis Branham is a national recruiting analyst of 247Sports had praise for Cadeau here in May, complimenting his game and saying the guard could go and start at UNC right away and he wouldnโt have any reservations about that.
Branham made the comment on Inside Carolinaโs podcast:

I donโt think many would disagree with that statement as Cadeau has really elevated his game since committing to North Carolina. He was even called the best passer in the 2024 class by an analyst.
With North Carolina having a loaded 2024 class, the future is bright in Chapel Hill. But if Cadeau moves up, UNCโs roster looks even better in 2023.
