G Adam Miller commits to Arizona State

A former LSU player found his next home.

Guard Adam Miller is heading to Arizona State after spending two years at LSU.

Miller began his career at Illinois before Will Wade recruited him to LSU in 2021. Miller missed all of 2021-22 with a torn ACL suffered in preseason practice.

He entered the portal again after Wade’s firing but opted to rejoin the Tigers with Matt McMahon. Miller averaged 11.5 points per game with the Tigers and shot 37.7% from three-point range. He made 33 starts for McMahon last year.

At Arizona State, Miller will join a staff that features his former high school coach, Nick Irvin. Irvin works as a special assistant to ASU head coach Bobby Hurley.

Miller will aim to find stability with the Sun Devils. This was Miller’s fourth time in the transfer portal, and ASU will be his third school.

Miller flashed plenty of talent as a freshman at Illinois but had some consistency issues upon returning from the injury at LSU. Arizona State offers the guard a fresh start.
