Alabama basketball’s Brandon Miller injury update head of Sweet 16

Alabama men’s basketball star freshman Brandon Miller suffered a groin injury during the 2023 SEC Tournament, which the Crimson Tide won. Though he has yet to miss time because of the injury, he opened the NCAA Tournament not looking like his former self.

In the Round of 64 matchup against Texas A&M CC, Miller only played 19 minutes and didn’t score a single point.

He performed well against Maryland, playing for 34 minutes and scoring 19 points while coming down with seven rebounds.

Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports today that Miller “is still not 100%, but ‘should be better than he was last weekend.’” he quotes Alabama head coach Nate Oats.

The Crimson Tide will take on San Diego State in the Sweet 16 in Louisville.

Roll Tide wire will continue to follow Miller and the Alabama basketball team as March Madness continues.
