Tigers are 1.5-point favorites over Tennessee

The Auburn Tigers are set to play the No. 14 Tennessee Volunteers in a must-win game Saturday. Thankfully for Auburn, it will be played inside Neville Arena where they are 13-2.

Auburn is coming off a 90-85 loss to Alabama where the Tigers led for over 30 minutes and had a shot at picking up the signature win they need. K.D. Johnson had the best game of his season to keep the Tigers in it, scoring 21 points and making 3-of-4 shots from deep.

Tennessee on the other hand is coming off back-to-back blowout wins. They crushed South Carolina 85-45 last Saturday and beat Arkansas 75-57 on Tuesday.

With the game being at Auburn, the Tigers are slight favorites, BetMGM has them favored by 1.5 points over the Volunteers. Here is everything you need to know about the game before you place a bet.

Auburn has a solid shot of making the NCAA Tournament even if they lose this game but a win would lock up their place in the tournament.

The Tigers nearly beat Tennessee in Knoxville earlier this season but were unable to hold onto their lead and suffered yet another close loss. That will not be the case Saturday, as the Tigers will be able to get the job done against the Volunteers and cover the 1.5-point spread.
