NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — The Christopher Newport Department of Athletics announced that tickets for the 2023 NCAA Division III Women’s Basketball Championship opening round held in Newport News, Va. this weekend are on sale now. Tickets may be purchased online, over the phone, or in person at the Freeman Center box office this week.
On Friday, March 3, the opening round will feature two games at 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. in the Freeman Center. First, Elizabethtown will face Stevens before the No. 1 Captains host Brooklyn. The two winning teams will then advance to play on Saturday, March 4 at 8:00 p.m.

Fans can also call the Box Office at (757) 594-7880 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. with any questions or to purchase tickets over the phone.
Tickets are $15 for chairback admission and $10 for general admission. Children two and under will be admitted free.
