PITTSBURGH – Throughout the month of February, the University of Pittsburgh women’s basketball team will be participating in the Kay Yow Cancer Fund’s #Play4Kay National Free Throw Challenge.
You can support the Panthers by pledging for every free throw they make during the month of February! Follow the Panthers progress on the National Leaderboard. The team that raises the most money will be crowned champion and all proceeds of the #Play4Kay Free Throw Challenge will benefit the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.
Fifth-year head Coach Lance White will be donating $5 for each free throw the Panthers make during the month of February and he encourages participation for this great cause from all of Panther Nation.

The Kay Yow Cancer Fund’s mission is to extend and improve the lives of those who are battling cancer by raising money for research and assisting the underserved. The Play4Kay initiative is the Kay Yow Cancer Fund’s largest fundraiser and plays a major role in uniting players, coaches, and communities in the fight against ALL women’s cancers.
