Women's Basketball Travels to Clemson Sunday

Syracuse (11-4, 2-2 ACC) travels to Clemson (11-5, 2-2 ACC) for a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. in Littlejohn Coliseum in Clemson, S.C. Fans can watch Sunday’s game on ACCNX through the ESPN app.

The Orange look to build off of Thursday night’s 89-71 home win over Pittsburgh and go for their first road ACC win of the season against the Tigers. Dyaisha Fair, Syracuse’s leading scorer, averages 19.1 points per game and is coming off a 24-point performance against the Panthers Thursday night. Meanwhile, Georgia Woolley has started 2023 with back-to-back 23-point games against #6 NC State last Sunday and Pittsburgh on Thursday.

Clemson is hoping to bounce back from a 93-62 road loss at Florida State on Thursday. The Tigers had won three-straight games up until the FSU setback including an exciting 60-59 win over Wake Forest and a top-10 win over Virginia Tech on Dec. 29. Clemson is led by Amari Robinson and Ruby Whitehorn who average 12.5 and 12.1 points per game, respectively.

Syracuse leads the all-time series 10-2 and is 3-1 on the road against the Tigers. Last time they met, Clemson earned a 88-69 win in the first round of the ACC Tournament last March.

Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.
