Thursday’s game marks just one of two meetings this season between UCLA and USC – and the only meeting in Pauley Pavilion (UCLA will play at USC on Thursday, Jan. 26). Thursday’s pregame festivities will include a performance of the national anthem by UCLA alum, saxophonist Austin Gatus ’19 and a “Blue Out” T-shirt giveaway for all students and fans.

VERSUS THE TROJANS

Last season, UCLA won the final two of three games against the Trojans, including a 69-59 victory in the semifinals of the Pac-12 Tournament. USC defeated UCLA at the Galen Center in February, before UCLA answered with a 75-68 win against the Trojans in the final regular-season game (in Pauley Pavilion). Over the past six seasons, UCLA has gone 7-7 against USC.

Jaime Jaquez Jr. averaged 17.0 points and 5.0 rebounds in three games against USC last season. In addition, Tyger Campbell averaged 16.7 points and 3.0 assists, shooting 50 percent from 3-point distance (6-for-12).
