Jeff Walz Radio Show Schedule Announced


LOUISVILLE, Ky. The Jeff Walz Radio Show is back once again ahead of the 2022-23 women’s basketball season. The first show of the season is set for this Wednesday, November 2. 
 
Presented by Parlour Pizza, the shows will take place at the downtown Louisville establishment at 133 W Liberty Street. All shows will broadcast live on 93.9 FM The Ville and 970 AM WGTK and will run from 7-8 p.m.
 
Nick Curran, Louisville women’s basketball play-by-play voice, will host the show and discuss recent games, the upcoming slate and different aspects of the program with head coach Jeff Walz. Fans are encouraged to call and participate in the show at (502) 815-0939.
 
Street parking is free after 6 p.m. and fans can also park at the Marriott Parking Garage or the Jefferson Centre Parking Garage. Every show at Parlour Pizza will feature Happy Hour pricing ($3 domestic pints, $3 wells, $5 craft pints) from 5-8:30 and $5 off check of $25 or more with parking ticket/voucher.
 
The Louisville women’s basketball team will begin the 2022-23 season on Monday, November 7, at 5 p.m. ET against Cincinnati at the KFC Yum! Center. The Cardinals have a challenging slate ahead of them in non-conference play as they will face nine teams that made the 2022 NCAA Tournament plus a team that made the WNIT semifinals. Louisville will have a number of challenges on the road as they are just one of two teams in the Top-10 of the AP preseason poll to play five true road games in non-conference play.
